Urban Kreataive is looking for talented Web Designers and Developers to create amazing user experiences and join our thoroughbred Program. The ideal candidates should have an eye for clean and artful web design and development. They should also have superior user interface design skills.

The successful candidates will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. They will be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Actively Seek New Programming Knowledge.
• Build Products Using HTML/CSS/JS and Other Front-End Technologies.
• Code and Deploy Applications in a Cross-Platform, Cross-Browser Environment.
• EDocument Project Build and Maintenance.
• Experience Building User Interfaces and Prototypes from Wireframes and Designs.
• Familiar with Development and Debugging Tools for Cross-Browser Issues.
• Follow and Implement Industry Accepted Best Practices and Tools.
• Solid Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Update Current Websites to Meet Modern Web Standards.
• Write and Maintain Web Applications.

Technical Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a web designer
• Proficient in Wordpress
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subject

Tools / Software Programs / Platforms Requirements:

• Experience with Git and Github
• Experience with Photoshop
• Familiar with Social Media and Third-Party APIs
• Knowledgeable of REST-Based APIs
• Knowledgeable of Web Application Development Frameworks
• Proficient with Javascript
• Solid Understanding of HTML5/CSS3, jQuery, and Responsive Design
• UI / UX
• WordPress, Theming, and Module Development Experience
